FAQ

Q1: Who runs the summer day camp?
A: Summer English Camp (SEC) has been organized by the Fundacja Light & Love Home for four years. SEC 2026 is led by a management team. The teachers team is comprised of local and international volunteers, who are native speakers from America and Oceania, senior experienced teachers and children caring helpers.
Q2: What qualifications do your teachers have?
A: * Teachers from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds around the world.

* Experienced and well-trained educators with teaching experience in secondary schools, primary schools, and kindergartens.

Q3: How big are the groups?
A: The maximum class size of lower grade class (age 7-10) is 10. The maximum class size of higher grade class (age 11-14) is 15. During field trips and outdoor activities, we ensure that children remain under appropriate supervision at all times.
Q4: Is insurance (NNW) included in the fee?
A: Insurance is included in the participation fee. The insurance also covers children during field trips and off-site activities.
Q5: Are meals included?
A: Meals are not included in the participation fee. Children should bring their own lunch and snacks each day. Drinking water will be provided.
Q6: If my child doesn't speak English very well, can they still join the camp?
A: Yes, certainly. Children with limited English are welcome. We have Polish-speaking volunteers who can help with translation and provide language support when needed.
Q7: Is your camp officially registered?
A: Yes. Our summer day camp is officially registered with the Polish Board of Education (Kuratorium Oświaty). The camp has been approved and entered into the official register in accordance with Polish law.
Q8: What is included in the PLN 200 fee?
A: The price includes the day camp from Tue - Thu (09:00 - 15:00), English workshops, creative and cooking workshops, field trip admission tickets, transportation fee and accident insurance (NNW).
Q9: Who is this day camp for?
A: For children and teens aged 7-14. There will be 2 separate groups: 7-9 and 10-14 years old.
