One month after the Russian-Ukrainian war broke out in 2022, the first team of Light and Love Home arrived Poland.
We opened three Ukrainian reception centers in April and July 2022 in Zabrze and Krakow.
At the same time, volunteers also responded to the call and came to Poland from all over the world to serve enthusiastically, hoping to help Ukrainians in need as soon as possible. In less than a year, we have welcomed more than 170 Ukrainians, ranging in age from newborn babies to elderly people in their 80s. They are vulnerable refugees, including poor widows and orphans, single-parent families, the elderly, and those with chronic illness or cancer.
Today, our reception center is still operating, providing safe and comfortable accommodation for those in need, hoping to help them solve their immediate needs and tide over the difficulties.
